Jacob is growing at a rather alarming rate and I don't know whether to be
excited about all the fun times ahead or sad that my baby is not so much a
"baby" anymore. He is quite the mama's boy and I LOVE it. I pray he
stays this way. He is still working on crawling and we still have no teeth?! He
is also standing up in his crib now, very scary! I had to have my dad and
brother come lower his mattress down to the lowest level. He likes to stand up
on things and he loves to "hop" on his hiney! He is a jumperoo baby,
he loves his jumperoo and spends many evenings hopping around to the jungle
themed music. He is so smart and so quick with learning new things. I enjoy
being here with him everyday watching him learn new "tricks". He is
learning to wave "bye-bye" and it is the cutest thing EVER! He makes
my heart melt on a daily basis. I love walking into the babysitters house after
work and him hearing my voice and lighting up!
I have started buying his Christmas and it has been so fun! I can't wait for
Christmas morning ;) I don't know if I am excited to see his reaction or if I
am excited to play with his new stuff and install his new car seat! I have a
few more things to get him but I am in no rush. I am quite sure he will have
plenty!
We are going through some changes here in our home and we are adjusting
quite wonderfully. Just keep Jacob in your prayers; he is the most important
right now.
