It's January?!
Where did November and December go?
November-
You stayed well through this whole month, for the most part, and I could not be more thankful for this during the month of thankfulness. We are so very thankful for you. For all that you have taught us and continue to teach us on this journey of parenthood.
December-
We celebrated Christmas ALL month long. You thoroughly enjoyed the holidays and I love the joy in your eyes during this season! How blessed we are to have such a wonderful, joyful little man like you! Your last day of school was December 21st, and it couldn't get here fast enough!
And now it's January.....
January 1st. Where do we begin. It's a new year. Several "news" happening for you this year! We celebrated New Year's Eve at Papa & Geeg's this year. Papa, Jay, and Uncle Jeff had just returned from a 4 day trip to the deer lease so they were tired. We had dinner with the family and then we watched a few New Year's shows before heading home for the night. We rang in the new year at home, on the couch, just the three of us! This is your year little man, I can't wait to see the great things you will do in 2013.
January 2nd. Jay's 30th birthday. We celebrated with family for lunch on the 1st but the 3 of us spend the day somewhat together. I had to work but you and Jay played with your new cars all day and then met me at my office for lunch. We went to a really fancy restaurant downtown and I was pleasantly impressed with the way you acted, like such a big boy. After lunch you returned home with Jay to play some more before I got home. We gave Jay birthday cards, of which you were most excited about. You love cards, especially ones that sing and move! We made Jay the most delicious, most egg filled cake you have ever eaten and it was a blast! We will have to make this a new tradition!
January 3rd. You got the spend the day in one of your favorite places. The golf course. Your new nanny didn't start until the 7th so you had to go to work with Jay for the day. You didn't mind because you took your clubs and played on the course with Jay.
January 4th. You got to spend the day in another one of your favorite places. Aunt Cindy's house. Since Sarah and Coleman were still out of school and Aunt Cindy was off work, you got the spend the day with them. We are grateful for this time.
The first weekend in January you got to spend playing with Papa & Geeg, all your new toys, and enjoying this new year to the fullest! This new year will bring you so many great new adventures for that I am sure of! You start staying home full time now. You will have a new nanny on January 7th. Ms. Kayla, you have no idea how grateful for Ms. Kayla that we are! In two weeks we sign you up for TBall and there is no one more excited than your Papa! February you start practicing and games start the first of March. In March you will also turn 4....
Slow down wee one, I am not ready for you to grow up just yet.
